Oficios Tech Day 2026 held its first edition with Circli as technology partner
The trades, industry and technology day took place on October 20 at the Nave Cultural, with a web portal for networking and for the forums’ questions, with nothing to download.
MENDOZA, Argentina, October 23, 2026 — Circli, the Argentine events and communities platform, was the Official Sponsor and Technology Partner of Oficios Tech Day 2026, the day that brought technical talent, entrepreneurs and industry companies together at the Nave Cultural in Mendoza on October 20. All day long, the audience had the event portal on their phones —a website that opens in the browser, with a link or a QR code— to find the right people, follow the agenda and ask the speakers questions, with nothing to download.
From the badge to the portal
Every badge carried the portal’s QR code. Scanning it with the phone camera and signing in with an email address or Google was enough: no app store and no password. Anyone who had not signed up beforehand could join on the spot by scanning the QR code on the venue’s screens. Entry to the event was still handled by the ticketing service; the portal added the digital layer of the day.
To make networking work, the profile was filled in by speaking: the person tapped the microphone, said what they do and what they are looking for, and artificial intelligence filled in the fields. No long forms on a small screen.
Conversations that don’t depend on chance
Once the profile was ready, the platform suggested who each person could talk to and explained why, based on their interests and goals. AI suggestions depend on each event’s plan, and at Oficios Tech Day they were available in the portal. Each person decided what to do with them: write a message inside the portal, swap cards with a QR code or move on. Those who turned on notifications also received their messages on their phone.
“At a trades event, the value lies in the contact you take home. The AI suggests; you choose. Our job is to make sure finding the right person doesn’t depend on bumping into them by chance in a hallway,” the Circli team said.
The forums’ questions, from the phone
In the day’s forums —Connected climate control, Sustainable construction, Energy in transformation and AI applied to the trades and industry— the audience sent their questions to the speakers from the portal’s agenda. In each room, a moderator chose which ones were read out or projected, and each person could ask with their first name or anonymously.
A final report in preparation
The Circli team is preparing, together with the organizer, a final report with aggregated data from the day, without identifying anyone. Its results will be released with the organizer’s approval.
“What matters most to us about an event is what happens once it ends: that people leave with contacts that are useful for their work,” the company added.
Circli can be used as free self-service, with basic support by chat or email, or team-supported, with an assigned person, assisted setup, support before and during the event and a final report. On-site services are arranged according to venue, date and availability.
