Create your event page for free: registration, QR ticket and a portal for your guests
The free plan, updated: your event page with email registration, a QR ticket and the portal with agenda, networking and AI matchmaking.
What the Circli Events free plan is, today
Updated September 3, 2026. The first version of this post (June) described a plan with an attendee cap and WhatsApp as the front door. Both changed, for the better.
The Circli Events free plan is your event page with registration, plus something no registration page gives you: the portal for your guests. It is free forever, with unlimited registrations and no credit card.
It fits what a community, a coworking space, a university course, a chamber, a club or a winery organizes: meetups, talks, tastings, gatherings of 30 to 3,000 people.
What you get when you create your event
- Your public event page. A cover (upload one or let Circli generate it), the date in your time zone, the venue with a map, a description, the agenda, a gallery and an FAQ. One link to share anywhere and a PNG QR code for the poster or the story.
- Email registration, no account. People sign up with their name and email. No app, no password, no user to create. You can add your own questions and set a capacity: past that number, they join a waitlist.
- Confirmation with the event in their calendar. Every registrant gets a confirmation with a Google Calendar button and an
.icsfile. The day before, an automatic reminder. - QR ticket and check-in at the door. The ticket ships attached to the email. The host scans from their phone and the check-in is logged to the second.
- The event portal, with AI matchmaking. This is the difference. Every registrant gets access to a portal with the agenda talk by talk, the directory of who is coming, the chat and the AI that suggests who to meet and why. It is what a 10,000-person fair used, and the free plan includes it.
- The guest list, the CSV and the metrics. See who signed up, who came in and where they arrived from. Export everything to a spreadsheet whenever you want.
- Your organizer page. One page with all your events so people can follow you and see what's next. The free plan runs one active event at a time.
How to create it, in three steps
- Create your account with your email (or with Google). No card and no call.
- Set up your event in 5 minutes. Name, date, venue, description and agenda. If you already published it on a compatible platform, paste the link and Circli pulls the details in.
- Share the link or the QR. From there, every registrant gets their confirmation, the event in their calendar and, closer to the date, the reminder and their ticket.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
The free plan is not a cut-down version waiting for you to pay: it is the whole product for one specific size of event.
It is for you if you run a recurring meetup, an open talk, a chamber of commerce day, a tasting, a workshop. Events where people do not know each other, where you care about them coming back next month, and where the heavy lifting is not selling tickets but getting people to find each other.
It is not for you if your event lives on paid ticket sales, if you need invoicing and access control by ticket tier, or if you are a trade fair with exhibitors and sponsors who expect a space of their own. None of that is here, and forcing it would be worse than telling you.
The line, put simply: the free plan covers everything that happens with people; the paid plans start when third parties show up — sponsors, exhibitors — who need a surface of their own.
What it costs in time, which is what you actually pay
Zero is easy to say. The other cost is the one that matters.
Setting the event up is a real five minutes: name, date with time zone, venue, description. The agenda takes as long as it takes to type your talks in — the only stretch that scales with the size of the programme.
And after that, nothing. No reminders to send, no door list to build, no answering "what time was it again?" fifteen times. That is what a form plus a group chat charges you every week, in your own evenings, forever.
What is NOT in the free plan
On the free plan everything happens on the web: no sponsors and speakers on the page, no exhibitors, no venue map, and none of the additional notice channels. When you need them, the same event moves up a plan at a flat price per event, never per attendee. The plans are on Plans.

If you run a trade fair or a large conference, better talk to sales: that is where check-in at scale, exhibitors and sponsors come in.
